Bye Bye 'Bula

After a long week of packing, packing, packing, Mars is riding shot gun with expert trucker, Rich. Pipsqueak the guinea pig is riding shot gun in the Highlander, while Siri is meowling from the rear. Our animal adventures from Ohio to Oregon have begun!

As we approached adoption day a few weeks back, Sara and Jacob coined the phrase "Happy-Sad." So happy to become forever family. So sad for the unraveling of a "first" family that it also means. Leaving Ashtabula is like that too. So happy to head home to Oregon as a family of four. So sad to leave behind the people, the lake, the house that we've poured our blood, sweat and tears into these years here. These are a few of our favorite things.
